To lose weight, we try a lot of different types of methods. Some try exercises, some try dieting, and for those who are dealing with a lot of obesity-related complications and suffering from morbid or severe obesity, they go for the option of weight loss surgery. But did you know sometimes, detox drinks can help you lose weight too? There are several types of detox drinks that you must try if you are trying to lose weight. Whether you are overweight, severe, morbidly obese, these drinks can help you detoxify and in turn lose weight. Here, I am suggesting 7 drinks for you to try on every day of the week.
Lemon Detox Drink π. In one glass of water, add half of the lemon juice, half sliced cucumber, ten mint leaves and one inch long sliced ginger. It will not only hydrate you and improve your digestion but also the mint leaves and the cucumber is added for refreshment and flavour. The lemon and ginger will work as a detoxifier. Start the week on Monday with this drink.
Strawberry Detox Drink π. Tuesday definitely calls for this flavoured drink. All you will need is a big glass of water four to five strawberries, lemon slices, 10–12 mint leaves, and 10–12 lemon juice drops. Slice the strawberries and the lemon. Put them all together in a pitcher and stir it well. The strawberry is a great detoxifier.
Honey Detox Drink π―. Along with one liter of plain water take one tablespoon of honey, half sliced lemon juice, and 10–12 mint leaves. Along with hydration, it will help you with indigestion. The middle of the week calls for some change So, why not try this on Wednesday?
Pineapple Detox Drink π. Who doesn’t like pineapple? Start your Thursday morning with it. Take 1–2 round slices of pineapple, 4–5 mint leaves, half sliced lemon, and one liter of water. Pineapple is a bromelain rich fruit which helps in breaking down of proteins and its digestion. So, it also works as a detoxifier.
Apple-Cinnamon Detox Drink Apple and cinnamon are both useful in losing weight. You will need a half sliced apple, one spoon of cinnamon water, and one glass of water. If you drink this before every meal, it will help you more.
Mint Detox Drink Saturday is the start of the weekend. So, a refreshing drink would be perfect on this day. The ingredients of mint detox water are same as strawberry detox water. You only need to change the amount as mint is the major ingredient of this drink. You will need to 15 to 20 mint leaves, half sliced lemon, and 4–5 sliced strawberries with one liter of plain water. The mint as mentioned above is used for refreshment and flavour. But also mint in itself helps to detoxify and lose weight.
Grapefruit Detox Drink Do you like grapefruit? Then end your week on Sunday with this drink. The main ingredient is grapefruit. Other than that, you will need 10–12 mint leaves, one spoon lemon juice, and one glass of water. You need to slice the grapefruit before adding it to the drink. Grapefruit is full of vitamin C, which is an immune-boosting antioxidant that clears free radicals and toxins and helps in preventing inflammation.
All these drinks while detoxifying your body will help you, in turn, lose weight too.
